Sue has been a rural GP for over 25 years and is nationally recognised as a leader in Australia’s primary care sector with experience in primary care, medical education, workforce and rural health policy. She is a Board Member of Future Health Leaders, North Coast GP Training and is Deputy Chairman of the national Rural Faculty of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having previously served on the Boards of the Northern NSW Local Health District, NSW Clinical Excellence Commission and the Australian Medicare Local Alliance. Sue is a former President of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia and has held a variety of State and Federal Ministerial Advisory roles including for Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Medical Indemnity, Pharmacy Professional Programs, Medical Workforce and the NSW Commission of Audit. She currently works for the Capricorn Coast Hospital and Health Service.
